Introduction to my new line of LightFantastics

How do I describe them?

Yummy. Like whipped cream or sorbet.
Like a dream wedding.
Like someting that makes you feel good and you don't know why.
They bring attention to light, the most positive energy in the universe.

What are they?

They are sculptured blooms made from glass fibre and epoxy resin.
The added attraction is that they can easily be wired and used as lights
Each bloom is fitted with the hardware to make this possible -- however, my product is the sculptured blooms themselves and I make no representation as to the appropriate method of attaching lights
When lit with compact fluorescent lightbulbs or battery-run LED lights, they glow mysteriously.
In the daytime they have a similar beauty when placed in ways to catch the light from a window, or any other source.

What are they for?

Weddings and special events:
I see them used to create atmosphere, to add to the beauty of the occasion and help make it memorable.
Larger blooms can be used on tall stands.
Smaller ones can be used as centrepieces.
Small battery-run strings of LED lights could be placed in them or under them
In your home:
They add warmth and beauty to any room.
Select a base and have them wired.
They are light and versatile, can be placed on walls, can be hung from the ceiling if the shape of the bloom is appropriate.

My inspiration

I confess, I've secretly wanted to work with glass, but I can't stand the heat.
Nevertheless I had always kept the dream of working with translucency and when I discovered fibreglass I saw my opportunity.
Originally I used it to make moulds for my sculpture in a different medium, and that's when I realized that the moulds were as interesting as the resulting product.
Having a large garden, the idea of flowers did not require a stretch of imagination.
